BSRKC Changes 2012 Banquet Date and Venue

It is with much regret that the principals and organizers of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship have announced that the 2012 year-end banquet and awards gala that was originally scheduled for this Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Destiny Banquet Hall, has been postponed and moved to a new venue.

The new date for this year-end celebration is Sunday, March 3, 2013. It will take place at 401 Indoor Mini-Indy, 37 Stoffel Rd., Toronto, Ontario, M9W 6A8, from noon to 4:00 pm.

The presentation of the trophies, class champion jackets, and cash prizes, will be preceded by a buffet style luncheon. Both the adult and child tickets are $35.00 each, and the menu includes lasagna, grilled chicken, vegetables, spring mixed salad, assorted breads, with Italian pastries and biscotti desserts. Light beverages including water, pop, tea, and coffee, are included in the cost of the tickets. The BSRKC series is providing two complimentary bottles of wine per table with a cash bar on site. The dress code is business casual.

All tickets must be purchased before February 18 in order to ensure that the appropriate number of meals are ordered. Please mail cheques payable to BSRKC, 26346 Park Rd., P. O. Box 367, Sutton West, Ontario, L0E 1R0. Please send an email to LyndaChiovitti@hotmail.com with any related questions.

The trophies, class champion jackets, and cash prizes, will be awarded as follows: the top-five in the Novice, Junior Lite, Junior Medium, Junior Heavy, Senior Lite, Senior Medium, Senior Heavy, and Senior TaG classes, will receive Class Champion jackets and trophies. The top-three in each of these classes will receive and cash prizes. The top-three in the Masters, Junior TaG, and ICC/Shifter kart classes will receive Class Champion jackets and trophies.

The BSRKC Series extends its sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this unavoidable change has caused, and they look forward to welcoming everyone at 401 Indoor Mini-Indy on Sunday, March 3. Please note that attending guests wishing to register their racing number(s) may do so that afternoon. As well, kart rentals, the arcade, and the new glow in the dark mini golf at 401 Indoor Mini-Indy will be open for all guests to enjoy at this family entertainment centre.
