GAMEBRIDGE, ONT. (August 18, 2012) - After the grand opening of their Gamebridge facility and track just a month ago, Energy Kart Canada has now turned their focus to the premier Canadian karting event, the 2012 ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Championships. Rui Teixeira and Austin Milwain will contest the ultra-competitive Rotax Senior category, with both trying to secure Energy Kart Canada their first major Canadian karting title.

"Both drivers have been preparing for the Nationals with Energy both on and off the track to be sure to be ready," explained Ravinder Sanghera, Energy Kart Canada principal. "Energy is pleased with both its drivers. We are looking forward to the challenge and what is sure to be a great event."

The Energy Kart Canada team will descend upon the picturesque Circuit Kart Mont-Tremblant in Mont-Tremblant, Que., for this year's edition of the Canadian Nationals. Practice will get underway on August 22-23, with the official on-track action set for August 24-26. Both Teixeira and Milwain will not only be fighting for the overall Rotax Senior title, but also the accompanying Team Canada berth for the 2012 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Milwain was a Team Canada member in 2010 in the Rotax Junior category, and will be gunning to make a return trip in 2012.

"Both Austin and Rui are two highly capable pilots and have spent time with Energy at Gamebridge getting fitted for the kinetic chassis and familiarizing themselves with setup," added Energy Kart Canada principal Jayson Nazario. "The Energy testing program has allowed both young pilots the chance to learn the behavior of the kart and tune it to their respective driving styles. With the guidance of Energy Kart Canada, both drivers are confident and excited for the Nationals."
