| Lombardy Karting Ready for Annual Race Event Under the Lights |

The third annual “Lombardy Under The Lights Grand Prix” takes place this Sunday (August 5) with multiple taking to the track near Smith Falls, Ont.
Run in conjunction with the Lombardy fair, and providing fun for the whole family, practice starts at 2 pm prior to the battle for top honors under the lights commencing at 5 pm.
This is a point’s race for Lombardy Karting Association members, so the spec Vega Blue will be used. Visiting racers can run the Vega Blues or MG reds, while the 2 stroke classes run the MoJo tire.
The Novice and Junior drivers are invited to participate in the “Kart Light Show” that will take place between the heats and the features, with the karts dressed up with some funky lights and doing some parade laps.
The Lombardy Under The Lights Grand Prix is always a great race, with competitors and fans encouraged to spend the weekend with free camping and all the attractions of a country fair.
