The increased demand for customized racing apparel, suits, and promotional wear has lead to the need for ONE Race Gear to expand into the ever growing, karting community in Ontario, Canada.
Dan and Bob Bailey, a pair of avid karters and local business owners, first saw a Customized ONE driver’s suit at their home club, the Waterloo Regional Kart Club ( wrkc.on.ca ), which has positioned itself as Canada’s Largest karting club. The two were immediately intrigued, recognizing the potential and explosive possibilities for custom race apparel in Ontario.
“We [karters] need these!” exclaimed Bob Bailey. “The ability to customize your suit, crew shirts, flags….wow. Drivers and Sponsors will be very happy. The karts, trailers, drivers will become ONE.”
“With the technology of sublimation, the possibilities are endless,” added Dan Bailey. “Our current product line is race oriented, but it will continue to expand as we grow.”
In recent race seasons, there has been an increase in drivers, sponsors, and track officials unifying their appearance. It is believed that the trend will continue, as Ontario karting, and racing in general, has been grasping a stronghold on local media, internet media, even on television.
The Bailey brothers can be found most Saturdays at the track, pitted at the ONE Race Gear/BID Racing trailer. When not in the seat, the two are usually involved in racing in one way or another!
